Colleen’s Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness for ovarian cancer and early detection research. We leveraged a relationship with a former client, Pacific Retail, in order to coordinate an opportunity for Colleen’s Dream to raise awareness during a 24-hour window on World Ovarian Cancer Day. Colleen’s Dream would donate $5 for every picture taken, posted and tagged with the Butterfly Effect murals at the seven Pacific Retail locations. TJA was tapped to build an integrated campaign promoting the fundraiser in order to drive engagement with the murals
In 48 hours, we pulled together a campaign for Colleen’s Dream that included print collateral, social strategy and press awareness. Thanks to our dedicated Client Services team working the weekend (and getting collateral shipped overnight), the seven Pacific Retail locations across the U.S. participating in this fundraiser received the material in time for World Ovarian Cancer Day on May 8. The efforts of the organic social media campaigns generated significant awareness among local shoppers, resulting in almost $1,000 pledged in one day. The campaign as a whole won a 2019 PRSA Phoenix Copper Anvil Award of Merit.
