    The ideal Media Intern is an individual who has a few marketing classes under their belt and is interested in learning the ins and outs of paid media from the media team at TJA. 

    What you can expect to gain:

    Subject to current needs of clients.

    • Campaign management experience by making sure campaigns stay on track and deliver in full by helping with weekly and monthly campaign monitoring and reporting across all mediums
    • To learn the importance of tracking with an introduction to Google Tag Manager by assisting in any new campaign tracking set up in GTM
    • Invoice management experience – learn how to check media vendor invoices for accuracy and how those turn into invoices for clients 
    • To learn the ins and outs of paid social, from content creation to ad mock-up and what to check when launching campaigns
    • Get an introduction to market research by learning the tools we use to help define target audiences
    • To learn the art of SEO by assisting in campaign building and content creation
    • Hands-on experience performing above tasks as well as others.

    Qualifications:

    • Maintain a weekly schedule of 15-20 hours per week

    • Motivated to work independently, but can also be a team player when needed
    • Attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of Keynote for Mac, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets are required

  • Position: Account Manager

  • Position: Junior Web Developer

You will be expected to be fluent in HTML, CSS, Javascript and up to date on the best coding practices. Knowledge of custom WordPress theme development and experience coding HTML emails is a plus.   • Position: Senior Copywriter
    Job location: Scottsdale, AZ
    Job type: 3-5 years agency experience
    Employment type: Full-Time, in office
    Start date: ASAP

    The Senior Copywriter works within the creative department under direct supervision of the creative director, collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and write copy for TJA’s full roster of clients in various mediums including, but not limited to, print, broadcast (radio + television), web/digital, social media, outdoor and more.

    In addition, the senior copywriter works closely with the administrative, media, web and public relations departments to:

    • Strategize and concept campaigns
    • Support brand development initiatives
    • Create new business materials and occasionally participate in new business meetings
    • Produce internal documentation
    • Create compelling social media content
    • Write award nominations and additional materials upon request

    This position requires extensive market research, understanding of all clients and brainstorming to produce copy that captures each brand’s unique voice to deliver a strong return on investment (ROI) and increased conversions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with creative team to create and conceptualize ideas and campaigns
    • Perform research initiatives and compile findings for team and client usage
    • Write and edit copy, for both clients and internal TJA projects
    • Collaborate with and mentor junior copywriter
    • Participate in client meetings, new business presentations and internal strategy sessions
    • Proofread all final copy prior to release
    • Incorporate client and team feedback into copy, while maintaining consistency and objectives

    Requirements:

    • Understand various writing styles for different mediums and how/when to apply them
    • Have experience working with a creative team, preferably in an agency environment
    • Know AP style
    • Possess impeccable grammar and punctuation usage, and strong research skills
    • Be able to meet or beat provided copy deadlines
    • Have a passion for writing, the willingness to learn and the ability to easily adapt to quickly changing priorities
    • Is cool as a cucumber under pressure and tight deadlines
    • Has a sense of humor

    Experience:
    3–5 years of specific copywriting experience. Please be prepared to provide samples of your work.
