    Job Description:
    We are looking to add a Media Planner/ Buyer to The James Agency team. We are looking for someone that has a strong understanding and experience with traditional media buys but also has experience with digital media buys. Duties include ensuring that client approved media schedules are implemented properly and timely, working closely with other departments including, billing, digital and social. The ideal candidate will have experience planning all facets of digital media (display, mobile, video, social, CTV, programmatic). Must be proactive and always looking ahead to anticipate changing consumer media habits, consumer behavior, trends, and other marketplace nuances.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and execute paid media campaigns including traditional and digital ad campaigns (out of home, in home, display, programmatic and remarketing)
    • Present media plans to potential and current clients
    • Work with media vendors to quote and place media
    • Trafficking ad tags and creative using 3rd party ad server tools (Google DoubleClick)
    • Analyzing campaign performance and recommend necessary optimizations
    • Monthly reporting on campaigns and performance
    • Work closely with creative team to ensure copy and design aligns with media goals and objectives
    • Keep on top of industry trends and developments and implement with clients as needed

    Candidate Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of media and/or digital media buying experience. Agency experience is not required but a definite plus
    • Strong client service, strategic thinking and presentation skills; we are looking for a candidate that is well-spoken and confident in public speaking scenarios
    • Experience with traditional media buying
    • Skilled in Google DoubleClick
    • Experience creating detailed media plans
    • Experience with Prime Lingo (Scarborough)
    • Skilled in Excel and Powerpoint
    • Must be able to work well with a team but also be a self starter

    Job Description:
    As a graphic designer for The James Agency, you will be tasked with creating and delivering a range of creative work including (but not limited to) social media ads, programmatic display ads, traditional branding, production work, print ads and logo design. Experience with production, traditional and digital design is a must. It involves working closely with creatives, copywriters and our entire team. This role requires someone who is comfortable with working in both a traditional and digital landscape. You should be versatile and multifaceted, with a deep passion for solving problems with both creativity and an eye for detail. Having a team-oriented mentality and understanding of how your role and work plays into the broader integrated experience.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Working from pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
    • Working collaboratively with creatives, copywriters and the digital team to deliver creative work of the highest quality
    • Strong production background or experience
    • Staying on track with emerging design trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider creative community
    • Articulating and presenting creative ideas and concepts internally
    • An exceptional online portfolio showcasing experience in designing traditional & digital work
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
    • Knowledge/understanding of HTML/HTML5 and CSS can be beneficial but is not essential
    • Proficiency in working in Google Web Designer
    • Proven understanding of typography, layout, color and grid structures
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong ability to stay focused and produce high-quality work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to execute on simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere

    Required work experience:
    We are looking for candidates with with 3-5 years of graphic design experience. Prior agency experience is not required but a definite plus.
