We wanted to put together a social media event to break through the noise and build buzz among potential clients. The result was a one-day happening that showcased everything TJA is about: culture, spontaneity, people and experiences. We started by surprising two team members—Grace and Anthony—with a 24-hour trip to Santa Barbara, CA. The only catch? They had to leave with nothing but cash and their clothes. The pair documented their hijinks on Instagram Stories while exploring brands within TJA’s core competencies. They started with a shopping spree before scoring a sweet boutique hotel room and hitting up local hotspots. Throughout the trip, our team used targeted ads and organic outreach to connect with regional influencers. The event earned such a huge social spike that Instagram shut down our account out of fear it had been hacked. We’ll call that a win.
