When Travel Costa Mesa needed a fresh campaign to capture the city’s irresistible charm, they turned to us. Since 2017, we’ve infused our partnership with our full creative force, showcasing the beach, dining, shopping and arts scene Costa Mesa is known for. For “We’ve Got Good Taste,” we amped up the energy with bold video spots to eye-catching designs, spreading the buzz about this can’t-miss destination across web, social and paid ads. And, as always, it was an absolute blast.

Coastal Charm, Creative Collaboration

This project gave us a lot to play with. Capturing the lively Costa Mesa locale in static design is no easy feat, but our designers 
rose to the occasion, creating visually stunning assets that made the city shine. For the video production, we stepped away 
from our usual music-driven lifestyle footage and embraced a dialogue-heavy approach, scripting and shooting lines that flowed from one scene to the next. With one of our biggest production crews, we traveled to Costa Mesa’s hotspots, showcasing the 
city in all its glory.

The resulting suite of visuals captures the essence of Costa Mesa and aligns with the city’s identity. Our vibrant creative is flooding feeds and resonating with target audiences, garnering 14.3 million impressions and 74,000 landing page visits over a 4-month time period. This project underscored the importance of thorough planning and adaptability in large-scale productions. Our success came from our ability to pivot when challenges arose, maintain strong coordination among partners, and stay true to our creative vision.
