Following recent renovations, both properties looked to modernize their brand perception and reengage guests. They partnered with The James Agency for Stratagem—our signature research and brand strategy process—which uncovered insights, clarified their identities, and built a roadmap for long-term success.

That strategic foundation has since grown into a full retainer partnership, with TJA now supporting the Biltmore and Adobe through email marketing, social media, website updates, public relations, and creative services. Building on this success, JDM also engaged TJA to provide ongoing marketing support for Wigwam Golf Club.

This process allowed us to separate each brand’s identity while still showing its connection to one another.

For the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, we emphasized approachable luxury for golfers who value heritage as much as high-quality play. For Adobe Bar & Grille, we leaned into its role as a neighborhood gathering place that celebrates local flavor and timeless moments. With precise positioning and cohesive messaging, both brands are now equipped to grow bookings, memberships and repeat dining visits.

Mountain Shadows is a $100 million luxury resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona, reintroduced in April 2017. Initially opened in 1959, the resort quickly became synonymous with Southwest elegance. Wholly rebuilt on the same foundation, the new Mountain Shadows is stylish, sleek, and modern, paying homage to its iconic namesake. TJA was tasked with rebranding and launching this iconic property, bringing its signature modernist style and unique history into the present with a fresh, sophisticated brand identity.
