Mountain Shadows is a $100 million luxury resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona, reintroduced in April 2017. Initially opened in 1959, the resort quickly became synonymous with Southwest elegance. Wholly rebuilt on the same foundation, the new Mountain Shadows is stylish, sleek, and modern, paying homage to its iconic namesake. TJA was tasked with rebranding this iconic property, bringing its signature modernist style and unique history into the present with a fresh, sophisticated brand identity.
Through a combination of brand development and strategic planning, we crafted a visual and narrative identity that highlighted Mountain Shadows’ stunning design and atmosphere. To build awareness and excitement for the reopening, TJA implemented a multi-channel advertising campaign—blending digital, social, print, and influencer partnerships—to ensure the buzz around this iconic Paradise Valley landmark’s return reached the right audience and generated significant anticipation.
