Waterfront District Branding and Media
National Harbor is 350 acres of riverfront property along the Potomac River. It features a Waterfront District, over 40 restaurants, 160 retail spaces and top resorts, hotels, convention centers and a casino just minutes from Washington D.C. Stakeholders reached out to TJA to create a distinct brand identity for the Waterfront District and to bring new life to National Harbor with a campaign that conveyed the destination’s character with unique digital experiences. A full-agency effort resulted in rebranding for the Waterfront District, a brand new website, paid media strategy, print collateral, seasonal campaigns, and a coordinated digital campaign.
When Picklemall approached TJA to promote the opening of its first-ever location, our PR team immediately realized the startup’s potential. The indoor modular pickleball concept combined the adaptive reuse of mall spaces with America’s fastest-growing sport. We grew a brand presence from the ground up that would outshine Picklemall’s competitors, keeping spotlight the Picklemall name in the eyes of the media, ultimately propelling it onto the national stage.
